TRAVERTINE GRADE QUALITY GALLERY

Travertine is graded by weight. Travertine naturally has air pockets (holes, pits) in it’s layers. The more air pockets, the less it weighs and the more prone to cracking or erosion. The less air pockets, the better the travertine quality.
